Invite and manage users

Invite collaborators to Sendora, assign Editor or Read-only roles, and manage invitations, permissions, and access removal.

5 min read

The Users page lets the Sendora account owner invite collaborators and control what they can view or change. Every member uses their own email address and login, so passwords never need to be shared.

Invite each person through their named professional address. You can remove one person's access without changing credentials for everyone else.

Who can invite users?

Only the account owner can send invitations, change roles, and remove collaborators. Team invitations are available on paid plans, which support multiple users.

Collaborators can see the team they belong to, but cannot invite new members. Plan, payment, and other sensitive account management also remain owner-only.

Invite a collaborator

Select Invite user, enter the email address, and choose an access level. Sendora emails the person a link to join your workspace.

  • check the address before sending;
  • grant only the permissions required;
  • tell the person to expect the invitation;
  • ask them to check spam if it does not appear.

Choose Editor or Read-only

Editor

The member can create and manage campaigns, contacts, lists, and templates. Use this for someone who actively prepares communications.

Read-only

The member can view campaigns, lists, contacts, statistics, and templates without changing them. It suits review, monitoring, and reporting.

Owner

This is the primary account. It manages billing, invitations, and permissions and cannot be assigned like an ordinary member role.

Follow the principle of least privilege. Start with Read-only when someone only reviews results, then grant Editor access when their work requires it.

The account owner cannot be replaced directly from the interface. To request an ownership change, contact support at contact@sendora.fr and include the current and requested new owner addresses.

Understand statuses

Pending

The invitation exists, but the person has not completed registration.

Active

The member joined the workspace and can use Sendora according to their role.

Expired

The link can no longer be used. Delete the invitation and send a new one when access is still required.

Change permissions

Open the member or invitation menu, select Manage access, choose Editor or Read-only, and save. The change applies to an active account or to an invitation accepted later.

Remove a user or invitation

Removing an active user revokes their access, while removing a pending invitation cancels it. Campaigns, contacts, lists, and templates already created in the shared workspace remain available.

Remove access promptly when someone leaves your organization. Review any other professional systems they used as well.

Team best practices

  • never share the owner's password;
  • give every member a named account;
  • review active users regularly;
  • limit Editor access to people who genuinely need it;
  • keep someone responsible for tests and approval before sending.
